Born in Mumbai, India, Hooz’s journey has been nothing short of global. He later moved to Brazil before heading to the United States for college. After taking a year off to live in São Paulo, Brazil, he fell in love with the culture and language. His persistence and adaptability helped him navigate the challenges of living in a new country and overcoming the language barrier, making Brazil his permanent home.

From Sprinting to Marathon Running

Hooz’s passion for running began in high school as a sprinter on the track and field team. Earlier this year, he decided to pick up running again as a hobby. Starting with smaller events, Hooz quickly challenged himself to complete a half marathon, and now, he’s gearing up for a full marathon. When asked about his training, he shared that, regardless of how the marathon goes, he’s already gained something invaluable: he’s in the best shape of his life. Along the way, he’s faced the difficulty of balancing training with work, dealing with sore muscles, and pushing his limits—lessons that have helped him grow both physically and mentally.
