ISP proxies are associated with a real internet service provider, which makes them look more like organic user traffic. Data center proxies aren’t, so they’re easier to ban.
ISP proxies are associated with a real internet service provider, which makes them look more like organic user traffic. Residential proxies take things a step further by being associated with an internet service provider and a real device. But not everyone needs that level of authority, or the slower speeds that come with it.
Static ISP proxies are cheaper and come with unlimited bandwidth. But when they get banned, you have to switch from one proxy to the next manually (or using an API.) Rotating ISP proxies rotate automatically after each ban, but cost more for the privilege. Both are great options, it just depends on your own experience and familiarity with proxy management.
That depends on what you’re doing with 'em. Residential proxies work for more sites and are easier to maintain, but are slower and more expensive. Data center proxies are the opposite: cheap, fast, and a little more complex to maintain. ISP proxies give you the best of both worlds, but may not work for everything that residential does.

Free proxies are usually untrustworthy. They’ve usually been used by so many people that they’re blocked from a lot of use cases. Plus, even free proxy providers have to make their money somewhere - often, by selling your data to third parties and compromising your privacy!
