Rust offers more control over memory and concurrency, but it’s harder to learn and mostly used in systems programming.

If your goal is to build scalable, fast web applications, Go is probably a better fit.

Rust is perfect if you need high-performance, safe, and concurrent code, but expect to spend more time learning it.

Start with Go for easier web development, and transition to Rust later if you need deeper control.

I’d probably recommend starting with Go if you’re newer to programming or want to build backend services quickly. The syntax is pretty clean and it’s easier to get productive fast. Rust is amazing too, especially for performance and safety, but the learning curve can definitely feel heavier at first. Really depends on what kind of projects you want to work on long term. If you’re new to programming or want to quickly develop backend services, I’d probably suggest starting with Go. It’s simpler to get productive quickly and has a fairly straightforward syntax
